The torrent of helplessness swept me away.

It's there. Real. Bright and shining light. It's so easy for one to ride on that torrent of ecstasy once it comes by and sweeps you off your feet. Just as easily, the torrent can come to an abrupt ending. What is it that makes the ebb and flow so dramatic? Is there a way to moderate this dynamic, make it a more even flow?

In my life I have noticed that, for the most part, the flow is fairly even. However, eventually that torrent sweeps me up and I lose the reins for a time. While the ride is always one that creates lasting memories, it seems the fall from those heights is sharp and painful. What is it then that I need to learn? I see patterns in my life, but I don't know what to change. This is frustrating to me as I am very willing to change and grow. I seek a teacher. I need change.
